Creative Retreat Teachers - Paris, France 2015

Laura McCollough

Hello, my name is Laura McCollough and I live in Southern California with my wonderful husband,  three very busy daughters, and our little dog Sophia.  I have fallen in love with Italy and host Creative Retreats on Lake Como every year.   I have been crafting since I was a little girl with scissors, glue and photos and truly have a PASSION for recording our memories!  I love to create, design and teach others and have been working in the scrapbook and mixed-media industry for 10 years.   I have worked with Teresa Collins, Webster's Pages, Maya Road, Clear Scraps and am currently on the team at Scrap 365 Magazine from the UK.

I went to college for Interior Design and also spent some time planning weddings and I love to blend those skills together with scrapbooking for the perfect "marriage" of mixed media art.  Making projects for the home is really where I love to play and experiment. When I'm not in my "artsy" room,  I love to travel, sing, cook, play tennis and spend time with family and friends. I feel SO blessed to be doing what I LOVE for a living and enjoy every moment the Lord has blessed me with!  I am continually inspired by so much that life has to offer and can't WAIT to see where the journey will lead next!

I teach at all my retreats along with the other teachers I ask to join me each year.  The Paris Creative Retreat will be more about exploring Paris and I will culminate the week with a class I teach and we will incorporate items found throughout the week.

Céline Navarro

Bonjour! My name is Céline Navarro. I'm a 33-year-old French Scrapbook & Mixed Media artist, living in the South of France.  I started blogging back in 2005, mainly because I wanted to share my passions for Arts & Crafts, especially Scrapbooking and Mixed Media, but also about the music I like, travelling (I do travel a lot), fashion. Yep. Girl stuff.
Today, I'm a full time Scrapbook and Mixed Media artist, with several (lots!) areas I work on.  I'm one of the CEOs of Green Frog Studio Editions, which publishes {entreARTistes} magazine on a quaterly basis, organizes Scrapbooking & Mixed Media workshops and events everywhere in France and Europe, and manages our {entreARTistes} community plateform, as well as our online Eshop.  also teach Scrapbook/Mixed Media/Photography workshops in France and everywhere in the world. I've been lucky to teach classes everywhere in Europe (Italy, Spain, Germany, England, Switzerland, Belgium, Irland, Denmark, Norway, Holland), in Israel, South Africa, Brazil, Panama, United Stated, Canada, La Reunion, New Caledonia, Singapore, Australia.
I'm a Studio Calico Creative Team member.  I also collaborate with Nokia, through their Nokia Connects program and am an MVC Judge.  I'm the author of the Scrapbooking : Inspiration et Techniques book published by Le Temps Apprivoise.  I also teach online workshops through our French community, {entreARTistes}, and over at Studio Calico & Two Peas In A Bucket for the english-speaking audience.
Zoey Scarpelli

Hello everyone!  My name is Emanuela Zoey, but everyone calls me just Zoey because it's shorter...short like me!   I live in a small town near Bologna, Italy.  I just turned 30 but I still feel like I have 18 years old!  I always been a "creative kid".   Since I was little I remember teachers told my family to let my imagination run wild, and so they did. When I turned 20 I stopped drawing, I don't know why, but I started again a few years later, out of boredom, I have to admit. I started making cards and it got me addicted since the first card I made!

I've  traveled a lot and this gave me the opportunity to find out more about the card making/scrap booking world -- which was still a 'niche' world here in Italy. While in the beginning I was making only 'traditional' cards, now I jumped into the mixed media world, a world where I can find again the little kid I was, where I can run wild and let my imagination run with me without any rules. I also love to create Layouts, Altered projects, ATCs and TAGS.

I get inspired by everything that surrounds me and I am not afraid of mistakes, as I find they add a touch to the final artwork, because no one will know, except yourself. You can find me on InstagramFacebook and over my Blog  CIAO!
